The Kirrawee (Skyward 40 airframe) was built and donated to SSUAV by Professor George Skrowronski. The Kirrawee taught us to fly. Waz was awarded his Bronze Wings flying this aircraft. The Kirrawee has never had an autopilot installed but photographs from its downward facing GoPro camera has been responsible in locating and returning lost aircraft to members of the Sutherland Shire Sports Flying Association as well as taking images of our Joe imitator!
